While the world produces many spices, the spices I will list here are ones commonly found in Zanzibar Islands, what once used to be called Islands of Cloves.

Most of what we have in Zanzibar comes from traders from around the world, as Zanzibar used to be one of the trade centers of the world, ships used to come from as far as China. That is why many of our foods are Asian (especially Indian), and of Arabic Origin also.
